Dual Summoning ?

ok i have a lvl 58 soul breeder and just activated dual summoning lvl 1 , i have heard ppl talk about using dual summoning to lvl pets and to solo in dungeons ,,,so long story short i tryed using skelly 60+10 and siren 56 + 6 .
would attack single mob with skelly and try to watch mobs life bar then summon siren to get jp before mob dies ,, then when skelly is gone i attack first then summon skelly so siren wouldnt take damage,,, siren died,,,,,,,,,,,,
i tried it over and over for 20 min till i gave up , was eating up tons of mana and could never time it just right to have both pets out when mob died so both got jp.
what am i doing wrong ? can some one post here how to properly dual summon ?
or am i to low lvl or pets to low ? any ideas ?

You're supposed to leave one pet, say, the skelly, out all the time so it keeps its buffs. Then, before the mob dies, DS the siren, then a few seconds before the skelly disappears, unsummon it. Then you don't summon it again until Summon is off cooldown.

If you don't have good buffs and whatnot, using a 60 skelly to tank mobs in LM is probably a bad idea :p

Using dual summon lvl1 on dungeon mobs/normal mobs is only frustrating... Just save the pain for the controllerbosses, but then you would need a tanking pet.

im a noob breeder but this is what i do...

step 1: summon main pet (thats skelly for me)
step 2: whack mob & summon 2nd pet before mob dies
step 3: unsummon 2nd pet before the timer runs out & also to preserve the buffs of main pet
step 4: repeat step 2...etc...

and try putting job points to your dual summoning skill...it'll make your life easier ^^
